I attended a smartboard convention in Wayzata MN. this summer and I heard Ben Hazzard and Joan Badger talk about technology uses in the classroom. They also discussed their podcasts and I looked them up and downloaded a few and have found them informative and fun to listen to. I am now looking forward to the new year and trying out some of the tips and websites that I heard. Of course this will all be on the Smartboard in my room.

New School Year
I have just set up my classroom before the new school year. The Smartboard in my room is again the center of the room. I updated my notebook software and downloaded the Senteo program. This year I am lucky enough to have a 32 set of Senteos to add to my room. I am very excited for the year to begin, especially feeling much more comfortable with my Smartboard.
